The TFT DISPLAY is 3.3V NOT 5V, therefore the signal pins on the DISPLAY
are 3.3V level and cannot handle 5VDC.

If you want to power the TFT Display with 3.3V you will have to bypass the
regulator IC. If you don't know how to do this please don't ask, you will
need to find someone with electronics experience to help you.

Bottom line:
You must POWER the DISPLAY BOARD with 5VDC. All the CONTROL SIGNALS must be 3.3VDC.
