WANTED- CCS C compiler version 3.235 |

Does anyone have in a dusty place of your old computers, the CCS C compiler version 3.235?
I need exactly this version to give life to an old firmware.
I have already asked CCS about this version, but they do not have it any more.
Any idea is welcome. |

I know I have 2.3xx here somewhere....
Bet Mr. T has it though, probably has them all in nice neat organized folders too.... |

I asked CCS support if it was okay first. I also offered my inventory of their old compilers.
3.235 dates from Sept 28, 2005. Feels like the blink of an eye to me, but in my everyday (work) life, I consider anything 10+ years old ancient! |

Hi,
Sorry to have been slow, I was out yesterday. No, I have 3.226, and then
3.249. I didn't keep the versions between, since I have notes that they
all had major problems. There were only a few weeks between versions
at this time....
Must admit all my old V3 code will compile OK with 3.249, which I consider to
have been the best V3 version.
Well done Newguy. |

Thank you all, I appreciate a lot your time and your help.
@newguy if you sent me anything, sorry, but it did not arrive. I'd appreciate it if you could try again. |

I suspect that your email provider blocked it, even though the attachment was a zip. I tried renaming the exe within to .notexe.
If it gets through this time, rename the attachment in the obvious way. |

That is very common when sending things. Some servers have rules that
are designed to stop all sorts of things. I often find it is easier to send
a link and put the file up onto an upload site.
Well done on getting it through.
Hopefully you can get the code working OK. |
